What we keep

• The email address a parent signs in with, and whether they use an emailed link or Google.
• The name you give your family's aquarium.
• The drawings made on your devices, and which sea creature each one is.
• The names you give your tablets and TVs, and when each was last used.
• A log of changes in your family, such as a device being added, so you can see what happened.

What we don't

• Children never create accounts, and we never ask them for names, photos, ages or locations.
• No advertising, and no analytics or tracking on the drawing and aquarium pages.
• We don't sell or share your information.

Who can see your drawings

Only the tablets and TVs you added to your family, and signed-in parents of your family. Our staff look only if you ask us for help, or if the law requires it.

Where it is kept

On a server in Canada: the service and your drawings are on OVHcloud in Beauharnois, Quebec, and sign-in emails are sent through Resend, in the United States. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address. Families in the United States: your information is stored and processed in Canada and may be subject to its laws.

Cookies

Only the ones that keep a parent signed in and a device paired. No tracking cookies.

How long, and your choices

We keep your family's information until you delete it. On your family page you can download everything, or delete the family: the records go at once, the drawings within minutes, and backups age out within 30 days.

Children

The aquarium is made for families with young children, but accounts are for adults only. Children use the drawing page on a device a parent has added. If you think a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
